Having played at hundreds of weddings over 40+ years, Mark has a deep understanding of what is needed and he will work with you to custom build a musical experience to remember for your special day. While fully versed in all the standard repertoire, he is also happy to learn new music to suit your tastes. He can provide a complete tailored wedding entertainment package including music for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing.
The music for your ceremony is both the most important and the most personal part of your day and Mark is the ideal choice to provide this. Whether you are looking for traditional choices such as Pachelbel's "Canon in D' and Handels "Water Music" or if you are looking for a more unique choice such as a Rock, Jazz, Spanish, Country, Reggae or Celtic theme, Mark can provide just what you need. Working alone or with added flute, violin, cello, trumpet etc, He will perform your choice of music and make it memorable!
It takes a certain kind of musician to provide the perfect mix for your cocktail hour. Your guests will be a diverse group from all generations of the two families you have joined together and their tastes will reflect that. With a vast repertoire spanning 100 years or more, Mark can truly provide something for everyone. His solo work is ideal for this part of the day, and just like your ceremony he can perform alone or with friends.
Nothing beats a good live dance band for the evening at your wedding. Mark can provide an ideal band for this. He has an expansive network of professional musicians to draw from and can even custom build this part of the big day for you. He has two main bands: the Mark Harding Band plays a wide array of music from the 50's to the present and the Groovin' Dukes are a Swing and Latin dance band. The two can also be combined to provide a full 100 years of musical choice. For smaller gatherings, Marks solo sound will also work very well,
